NEW RELEASE!
STORIES FROM THE HEART

“It is both an honour and a privilege to provide space for stories to be told. Many people have not ever known what it is to be truly heard. This companion workbook arose from the Journey to Write YOUR Story program, as it was presented at the Kettle & Stony Point First Nations Public Library, Ontario, Canada, beginning in February 2025. The authors hope that you will take time to engage with the lessons within and find walking this Journey with us a rewarding and enriching experience.“
~ Laureen Giulian, Author and Transformational Journey Facilitator
I counted it a great honour to be asked to review this book of poems and short stories. I am proud to say that I am acquainted with most of the authors. This was a marvelous opportunity for the authors to be a part of a storytelling class held at our community library. The authors were able to write and share their stories. This book is a result of those writings.
“I admire the bravery that it takes to be able to open up and share your story, to let the walls down, allow the world to come in and see the real you. In my opinion, the sharing of your innermost feelings in written form takes a special kind of courage.
“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to all of the authors for creating an opportunity where I felt like I could knock on the door, be welcomed in to be able to sit and share their stories.
“I was excited to get my hands on this collection in book form. I was so intrigued, maybe because I know most of the authors. I couldn’t put it down. I look forward to more writings from these authors. Chi Miigwetch.”
