Congratulations! It’s a Book!

Six incredible individuals collaborated with Laureen Giulian to tease out a collection of short stories and poems that both entertain and inspire. The book is an interactive workbook which allows readers to participate in the Journey to Write YOUR Story program that was offered through Winter 2025 at the Kettle & Stony Point First Nations Public Library in southwestern Ontario.

Stories from the Heart On a Journey to Write YOUR Story was eagerly received by community members in a launch party held at the heart of the community – the library – on Wednesday February 4th, 2026. Twenty-five copies of the soft cover issue were distributed to members who attended the launch, in an effort to raise awareness of the importance of sharing our stories with respect and dignity and the need to preserve them for all time.

Soft cover books will be available for purchase online around mid-February. An e-book will follow in March.

Journey and Discover a New Purpose in Their Own Lives

In ‘Moon of Change,’ Laureen Giulian shares an inspiring story about an Indigenous duo and offers the opportunity to uncover a fresh perspective on life.

ONTARIO, Canada. – Author Laureen Giulian has published “Moon of Change,” the first book
in her upcoming trilogy. Join main characters Kiera and Joshua, who both have Indigenous
blood, on an emotional and spiritual experience. Readers are encouraged to step away from their social story and start taking responsibility for themselves, the earth and humanity.

Giulian has been writing all her life, mainly poetry and short stories and is thrilled to share her debut book. Her goal is to teach a path of spirituality that is both empowering and inspiring to others. Writing this book came from some of the personal experiences the author has had throughout her lifetime, which have largely contributed to her vision for the world today.

“Moon of Change is a coming-of-age story pertinent to the changing times in which we find ourselves,” said Giulian. “Through Kiera and Joshua’s story, readers will gain insight on the importance of growth with integrity and embracing the beauty of mother earth.”

Readers are taught that the power of working together for a common cause can provide a sense of oneness and unity. “Moon of Change” is a timely story that empowers readers to look inward, assess where and who they are and how to progress for the greater good in life. Ultimately, by the end of the book, readers will find the courage to tell themselves that nothing is truly impossible.
